I regret to inform you of a concerning experience at Tenpin Bowling in Telford on Friday, December 15th, during my 14-year-old son's birthday celebration. Despite having a lane booked for 19:40, our visit was marred by various issues.Upon arriving at 6 pm to enjoy the arcades before bowling, I encountered a prolonged delay during check-in at 7:15. A customer dispute caused a 25-minute wait, frustratingly unacknowledged by the two employees handling the situation. The lady eventually attended to my check-in, apologizing for the delay. However, when I attempted to order additional food and drinks through the Tenpin app, I encountered errors twice, leading to the need to order at the bar.Lane 17, where we played, and the surrounding areas were disappointingly filthy, with empty glasses and leftover food, affecting our entire bowling experience. The state of hygiene persisted throughout our two games.Efforts to use the Tenpin app for ordering were further hampered by technical glitches, and when attempting to order extra food at the bar, I was informed that it wasn't possible due to being too busy. Consequently, the pre-booked meals took around 40 minutes to arrive, prompting us to seek alternative dining options afterward.Moreover, the state of the toilets was unsatisfactory, with uncleaned beer bottles and a strong urine odor. This overall experience left us with the impression of an understaffed, poorly managed venue with subpar customer service and hygiene standards. I hope this feedback contributes to the improvement of Tenpin's services and facilities.

I today visited here for a bit of QT with 6 year old grandson and I turned around and left. They should be ashamed of the charges, it did not help I was ignored for several mins by a colleague just stood there with a vacant expression on her face. Nearly £15 for me and nearly £12 for the grandson just to play..DISGUSTING. we visited earlier this year before refurb and the prices have virtually DOUBLED. No more visits for us!

One of the better bowling alleys I've been too. Had a much needed facelift earlier this year and has improved it significantly. Lanes are good, staff are nice and friendly, plenty of options in the arcade for young and old. Bar is reasonably priced too.

Booked in for 6.30pm, got there 15 minutes early as suggested when booked. I was told to come back at 6.30 as Lane is still busy. Fair enough, so I went for a walk and came back. Got back there at 6.30 oy to be told it would be another 20 minutes as they were still using lanes. Wasn't happy with the wait. I know it's busy, but you expect to be able to get a lane when booked in advance. I have a child with special needs who isn't great with waiting in bust crowds, hence the booking in advance. Secondly, one thing I found annoying is the children being asked to remove hoods from hoodies. Again, it's a bit of a trigger for one of mine and doesn't make sense as everyone was wearing hats, including the security guard. Finally, the disabled toilet was locked.

Been before and the upgrade to the venue was amazing the staff were busy but with it being six weeks holiday we weren’t surprised! We were a party of 11 and service food etc. was good, maybe only thing I did note was people just using the venue as a get off the street site and not bowling or buying a drink. Other than that we will be back! Oh put a toilet door on the men’s toilet please but awkward doing my business with people watching!

Pool tables could do with being a bit further apart. Also, £1.50 a frame is quite pricey, decent atmosphere though considering it’s a bowling alley and drinks not too expensive. 8/10. Also please take the chalk off the wire haha
